Take a bath in wood

Behir Interior Design was introduced on the Dubai Index 2007 to the United Arabian Emirates:

„For this event we specially designed a bathtub inspired by the juicy shape of a shell. It is totally made of wengé wood and produced in Germany with a special technic  which allows to heat the wood to 270° Celsius. The surface is covered with hard wax oil. By contrast to some wooden bathtubs offered by other manufacturers, no artificial materials are used on our product. You can literally feel the warmth of a tamed piece of nature! “
